Maple Leaf I-Key Hop-Up Tensioner for GBB Pistols
The Maple Leaf I-Key is an aluminium hop-up tensioner designed primarily for compatible Tokyo Marui and WE G-Series GBB pistol hop-up units using the older, wider-style hop-up pressure arm. It sits between the hop-up arm and bucking, spreading the applied pressure over a wider area for a more even and consistent hop-up effect.
Compared with a standard hop-up arm pressing directly on the bucking, the I-Key provides a broader contact surface. This is particularly useful with Maple Leaf-style hop-up buckings featuring a larger contact patch, helping the bucking form more evenly around the BB.
Improved hop-up pressure distribution
The I-Key fills the space between the hop-up arm and hop-up bucking and distributes the force from the adjustment arm over a larger area. This can improve hop-up consistency and make it easier for a compatible setup to apply sufficient hop to heavier BBs.
Because the I-Key also increases the effective pressure applied to the bucking, the hop-up adjustment range may change after installation. The hop-up should always be readjusted after fitting the part.
Compatibility
The I-Key is not a universal tensioner for all GBB pistols. It is intended for hop-up units using the older, wider-style pressure arm found in several Tokyo Marui and WE G-Series designs.

Do not select the tensioner based only on the pistol model name. Different generations and manufacturers may use different hop-up arms. Check the shape and width of the original hop-up pressure arm before installation.
